The Comité Noviembre Traveling Poster Exhibit has been highlighting the artistic renditions of Comité Noviembre’s themes since 2011. Curated by Teresa A. Santiago, Comité Noviembre’s Chairwoman, and Luis Cordero Santoni, Comité Noviembre member and co-founder of the Puerto Rican Institute for the Development of the Arts (PRIDA), it is now an annual event.

 

The Traveling Poster Exhibit has been presented at the following venues:

  • White Plains Public Library (2022)

  • SOMOS Albany Conference (2018)

  • Loisaida Cultural Center (2016)

  • Casita Maria’s Children’s Gallery (2014)

  • Taller Boricua at the Julia de Burgos Cultural Center (2013)

  • Terrance Cardinal Cooke Health Center (2013)

  • Riverbank State Park – Cultural Complex/NYS Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (2012)

  • Eugenio María de Hostos Community College (2011)

 

An educational booklet accompanies the Traveling Poster Exhibit. The booklet includes an historical overview of Comité Noviembre's themes and artistic interpretations with updated biographies of the artists commissioned over the years. The booklet is customized for each exhibit location.
