The Comité Noviembre Artisans Fair and Book Expo has been an opportunity for holiday shoppers to purchase unique Puerto Rican original handmade gifts and support our artesanos for over 16 years. In 2013, a group of dedicated artisans and cultural activists at Comité Noviembre’s National Puerto Rican Artisans Fair and Book Expo founded the Puerto Rican Institute for the Development of the Arts (PRIDA). PRIDA co-sponsored the event and continues to be an organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Puerto Rican artists and the arts.

 

During the 2020 pandemic, when all were sheltering in place, Comité Noviembre and PRIDA were able to present this traditional event virtually, via the ComitéNoviembreVirtualFair.org website, which allowed for year-round global access to our artesanos.

 

In 2021, with CDC guidelines still in effect, the 16th Annual Comité Noviembre National Puerto Rican Artisans Fair & Book Expo Hybrid Event became both an in-person and online event and continued to support participating artisans and authors in our yearly holiday tradition.

 

This annual day-long cultural event returns in full and in-person this year! Featuring nearly 80 Artisans & Authors from Puerto Rico and throughout the United States. Hand-made crafts & books - ideal for Holiday gifts.
